Our Staff

Courtney was named Executive Director in March 2022.  She previously served as Director of Governmental Relations since 2018.

Prior to the Conference, Courtney worked for more than a decade as a government relations consultant where she successfully represented a wide range of clients before the Executive and Legislative branches of state government. She started her career on the staff of a former Deputy Majority Leader of the NYS Senate where she developed an extensive understanding of state policy and the public policy process. Throughout her career, Courtney honed her advocacy skills and built a solid reputation for establishing positive working relationships with public officials and their staff on both sides of the aisle.

Since joining the team, Courtney has successfully raised the profile of the membership with key decision-makers which has reinforced the role of the LGUs as critical resources and stakeholders in the development and implementation of behavioral health policy.  Her collaborative engagement style and in-depth understanding of priority areas of interest has led to several noteworthy victories for the Conference.

Courtney is a graduate of Sage College of Albany and currently resides in Troy with her two daughters.
